So I took a trip to my LHS to pickup some paint for the Bomber XL and took a couple of shots... I'm using the same Bomber scheme but the colors are going to be a base coat Red with black and silver graphics... I'm modifying the window roll cage support and adding the Bomber number as well ...

I love this one....
Think scale....In my Rig pulling my SidebySide....Maybe a side project...Converting a bomber into a RZR ...

This is so awesome. I'd love for Axial to come out with a bomber XL.

Do they make any crawler motors for this size?

Oho ya the Tekin T8 Sensored is amazing and this week I'll be testing out Castle Creations New Sensored motor.

I actually the 2200 works great with a two speed and a 12 tooth pinion !

I'm actually going to Axialfest in July to show R&D my project so maybe you might see one on the shelves one of these days...

That's so rad. What do you charge ball park for one like that?

Axial needs to make one. Just finished my xl and now I want a bomber. Would rather have an XL sized one.

It would depend if you wanted to buy a kit plus the extra components OR to buy all aftermarket parts and chassis two chassis modify for a full custom bad boy.. my next move to to have my machinist to mill out 4sets of HD drivetrain components for a 12s 2028 capable rig..

I was testing out the snow guard and the bomber XL on 6s and it able to go up over Hills in 15 inches of Fluffy snow without dragging a pumpkin..
Yep that's a Monster energy drink can in the snow... I really was impressed with the rtr on 6S...But this Sensored combo with 100c Maxamps is insane !! Hydroplaneing is simply with this beast.. look forward to seeing the world's Fastest straight axle RC test runs soon !!

Phase One complete with the aluminum conversion . Next step tig welding the c hub to the aluminum axle adapters and attachment to the Vanquish axle ..

I'm having a machinist make up a HD U-JOINT conversion. He's currently in the works making MOD ONE conversion that are extra wide. Next is MOD ONE transmission gears. My chromoly slipper shaft has held up awesome no wobbling anymore! Even with a locked up slipper... Yep that's the kind of power the Sensored 2200/MMX + Maxamps 100C + XT 150 will do .....

Phase Two
1054 o.z steering servo . I'll have a unboxing video over this beast on my YouTube channel.
Hopefully it lives up to its hype!!
Should be good for a 16 lbs vehicle sense its intended for a 35+lb rig.

KEY FEATURES

Improved integrator design eliminates crowbar effect and reduces heat build-up
Socket-head cap screws
HV for use with 2-cell Li-Po’s
Waterproof
Steering and throttle options available
Removable, hi-strength servo lead
Low profile standard 1/5-scale size
Hardened steel gears
Dynamic breaking provides extreme precision
Zero-fade performance
Insane holding power

Dynamic breaking technology assures the vehicle maintains the heading demanded thanks to the servos brute level of holding power. An improved integrator design virtually eliminates the crowbar effect while keeping the servo temps low through even the most grueling of runs. Using Back EMF technology, position lock exponentially improves the servos ability to keep its position while greatly increasing holding power. In addition, the S9020 offers virtually zero servo fade, no matter how much is thrown at them. Forget about doubling up on expensive and heavy dual servo mounts. The S9020 won’t fade under any condition.

I did some research and found some alloy dowel pins that should be a suitable upgrade! The only issue I've had with the Bomber XL is breaking the hex pins & output/sun gear pins.
After fitting them I'll look at the oversized category for a refined fitment.

This will cover the transmission pins as well. Let me know if you guys want a kit after I hash out the best fit.
And yes that's a pinion bushings! The other ones that I ordered were miss labeled.
