Default How's everyone gonna build their Yeti??

Just curious, how is everyone planning on building their Yeti

Thinking heavy duty Savox, MMP with a 4 poke 3800 Castle, Losi 4x4 SCT shocks. Swap out all the links for traxxas turnbuckle and run this bastard hard and fast. I like it for a more true Trophy Truck type rig. Might even do SCT wheels and tires for go fast running, and swap out tires for crawling.

I don't know, but I'm excited and can't wait for this rig. That is all.

What are your plans for it ......

As silly as it is for me to buy one since I have 2 exo's screaming for solid rear axles already... I'll probably still pick one up and flog it till something breaks then replace the busted part with the best I can find just like I do all my rigs.

I'm going to run maxxis r35. 2speed when It's released vanquish hubs 500k diff fluid then upgrade as I break. Maybe a rock jock rear end only bc they are strong and not much more weight than a built ar60. It's hard to say anything else till I can run it. I'll be doing more u4 type stuff and trail running.

Motherfawker it's an rtr. Drive the shit out of it first, then once you break something put all this shit you just said.

PLZZZZZZ.... Most guys on here are already stacking parts to customize. I know it's a RTR, I'm just curious what everyone is gonna do to modify it.

PED453, don't read/respond of you don't like my question.

ill prob just change the wheels tires out, the bf's look alittle tall or something and different wheels to lose some of the width...maybe some type of sct truck wheels/tires. the rest of it looks fine as it is until it breaks.

3300kv pro4, MMP, castle bec, futaba bls157, Vanquish enduros, OTTSIX U4 voodoos, proline slash Powerstrokes, vp Ti rear uppers.

Also have a built wraith axle with the dlux bearing mod, standard ratio hardened gears, ballistic fab gear cover, and aluminum hardware that I will slap on the rear.

Getting my yeti on the 18th.. Have a local g6 event on the 19th. It's gonna be a busy night when I get the rig

Have they given an estimate release date yet? I know you can pre-order it on RPP website but they don't give a date.

I'll wait until most people get board of it, after putting all the top of the line parts on it. Then see it in the for sale section for a little less then what they paid/put into it. Buy it. Done.

Still not sure I'm going to jump in on the RTR...
BUT I have a new ROC 412/RS Gen2 setup that needs some use.
DLux bearing mod in the rear axle housing seems like a great idea.

SCT wheels/tires seem like an interesting idea... you'd have to run Slash offset rears and SCTE offset fronts to (more or less) make the track width match front to rear.

A steering servo in the 220oz/in & .12 second range.
Rear steer would be fun to goof off with.

I'm only going to get the 2 speed setup if RRP makes a tranny gearset.
Heavy diff oil in the front.
LockedUp RC F1 spool in the rear.
10A CC BEC? Sure, why not?
Maybe even throw a glitch buster cap in the mix.

Some custom metal cage work for fun & looks.

Drivers head sub micro servo mod for head turning? Maybe.

Lights? Definitely.

But really I'll just bash it and have a good time. I'll try the ROC412 only if cogging is a problem. I understand 4 pole sensor-less motors are theoretically less prone to cog than 2 pole.

A couple definite upgrades would in my mind be the supershafty axle/dive shaft combo and aluminum carriers and knuckles with the way I'll pretend I'm a Tanner driving it....

We'll see.
I'm more concerned with release dates and potential future options from Axial at this point.
