Default New SSD Wide Axle Kit for Yeti

Want to use different brand wheels on your Yeti?

Now you can with the new SSD Wide rear axle kit. It makes the rear axle a similar width to the front suspensions so you dont need rear wheels with offset hubs.

Not too shabby! Got a price on the kit?

Also....any chance at making the shafts in Ti? Or at least something stronger than the stock stuff? They bend fairly easily during bashing.

But, you can bend them back... A rubber mallet is your friend.

The SSD shafts are hardened tool grade steel.

We havn't tested Ti but I'm not sure it's actually stronger than hardened steel. Ti has better strength to weight ratio but that does not mean it is better when comparing like for like parts. It just means the Ti parts will be lighter.

I assume you only sell through a retailer? I don't see prices on your site. I definitely want to try out this kit.

if your looking for suggestions, I would have much preferred some narrowed a arms and axle shafts for the front to match the rear width. to make the yeti looks like a real U4 car, and not like a revo.
id buy that in a heart beat and so would a lot of other scale guys.

I doubt it would work (I haven't checked).

The front and rear tires will probably touch the body when the suspension is compressed.

Unless you switch them out for 1.9s.

The ofna shafts are incredibly shorter, would really need a modified spool and shorter arms.

Lots of real-estate on those outputs.

You think 1.9's would fit over the a-arms?

who in there right mind would run 1.9's in u4? I know it'd look more scale but most courses aren't "scale"

I like the idea of this product but $40 for a couple shafts and lockouts? Why not just a whole axle that doesn't use lockouts? They come loose all the time anyway. One less thing to have to worry about.

I got the kit and an extra set of shafts in case I bend one. The fit and finish is perfect. Good product
