Default battery wire configuration question

I just received a turnigy 2s battery for my sons slash and realized that the location of the wires coming from the pack required me to do some chassis trimming. (the wires came off of the end sticking outward)

This was a rookie mistake that I would like to avoid when I order the equipment for my kit build.

What wire location coming off of the pack will I be needing for the Yeti? I see that some are like this Turnigy pack but some are at the end sticking up like the Gens Ace.

Default battery wire configuration question

I feel batteries with the leads facing up work best for me either on one side or one lead on each side which is how my nano techs are. Here's a pic for reference. Also you might want to move up to 3s if you have a yeti.

Default Re: battery wire configuration question

Yes the 2S was for the Slash, I will be running 3S with Tekin rx8 gen2 and Pro4 HD 3000KV. The Battery I have chosen (for the moment) is the Turnigy 3S 5000mAh 40c.

I'm 2 hours from the closest hobby store so I am doing everything online and trying to do everything on Amazon because I can get 12 months 0% financing.
