|  Gearing question
Im about to buy the Holmes hobbies xl motor to put in my new yeti kit version. I was planning on going with the 3500kv model unless some one jumps in here to tell me the 2100kv is better and why. Any suggestions on gearing or will the stock gearing it comes with be ok? I will be running mostly 2s lipos and haven't upgraded wheels or tires or added any major extra weight to it.

3500 with stock gearing on 2S should do you great.

That's what I run on 3s with 64/12 gearing. It's awesome. Can crawl or go fast with more than enough power everywhere. The only reason I'd go with a 2100kv is if you were going to be using 4s.
