Default gearing question

I have rtr wraith with a stock 20T motor. I am thinking of putting ina axial 27T just to see if its what im looking for. If I do this m I going to need to change pinion or spur gears, or will this be fine? I use it mainly for climbing/ crawling. No bashing if that makes a diff. Also ive done a bunch of stuff to lower my cog which has helped a ton. The only thing I am having issues with is putting the batt too the front. Does anyone have pics? It seems like it would be a huge job to change batteries out. Thanks

Default Re: gearing question

There are multiple ways to put the battery up front.

My build thread shows how what I did to move the electronics back and put the battery up front.
Flatbed Rubi Wraith

Interior mod to install Crawler Innovations front electronics tray

This is just one of many ways to do it. If you search you will find other examples in this forum.

For the gearing question, Choosing a motor and ESC for your Wraith - Gearing Added!
I would probably start out with 80/16 and see how it goes.
