Hindsight being 20/20, I probably shouldnt have cut the windows out. I didnt take too many bad tumbles or rolls and this happened to the body. Oh well, live and learn

I'll give that a try. Pretty sure I have both layin around somewhere. The paint didn't come out as good as I hoped so if I have to get a new body it'll give me another shot @ a cleaner job.

I think it looks better with the windows out rather than leaving them on. I completely understand why you took them out. That said, now you know that portion of the body is a weak point and needs to be reinforced.

Agreed

I have a Bajr bug body I love . When I painted my second, I backed it, then shoo goo'd and taped the two stress spots. Worked perfect . Key is wait a week for full cure of all paint layers
