Default Internal spring shocks

Has anyone ran their yeti with internal spring shocks, either front or rear or both?. Looking at the yeah racing desert lizard 100mm for front. Curious to see if these kind of shocks can hold the weight of the yeti.... I use my yeti for mostly bashing and some bmx tracks and around the house. Pics also

In my humble opinion, internal spring shock’s performance is very limited. As you could not set their preload. For bashing purposes, I would suggest you to consider Traxxas big bore shocks or Pro-line power stroke. Cheers

Actually, with Desert Lizards at least you can set pre-load/ride height to some degree, although it's nowhere near as simple as coil overs with collars.

Desert Lizards come with three different lengths of springs/four of each, so you can tune sag, droop, dampening and rebound with some flexibility anyway, and oil is basically optional.

I'm running them on a Vaterra Ascender and an aluminum 10.1 and they work well. I don't think I'd put them on my Bomber, though...your experience with them on a Yeti may be less than stellar. Teng's recommendations were correct IMHO.

I have similar shox in the shelf for the old Playtron Bigfoot i Bring Back to Life. But i think they are not an option for the Yeti and bashing. Also 100 mm ist too long for the Front you will need 90 mm.
Bigbore shox will serve you better as stated above.
Have fun
