Default Venom Creeper CVD covers

After a pin came loose and tore apart my kids creeper (bottom photo), I had to find a better way to keep it together and keep that darn pin in place.

So I came up with these.

Little brass covers that slip right over the CVD. It's tapered on one side that goes toward the bearing so it won't come off.

I made these by hand, so they are not perfect machines pieces, but get the job done. I called several places, but they all demanded 600$+ initial setup charges minimum.

They clear the hub just fine. I have been running these on both of my Kids creepers the past 2 comps.

7$ a full set of 4 shipped. 5$ if you only need 1 pair, it has been requested. I will try to get these out within a few days of payment, as I just make them as requested.

Let me know, fellow Venom Creeper drivers.....PM me and/or PayPal is LokenRacing@gmail.com

Damage that can happen if a pin comes out

Thanks for everyone that ordered. I hope they are keeping your creepers together!

I'm on hold making these for a few weeks as I'm moving to a different state.

Thanks! And yes, they just push right on. Just pull the axle out of the hub, push cover on, and reinstall.

I added a couple photos to the first post of 1 of my kids creepers. I guess if you don't like the color you (me? ) could always paint them black? Was more of a function over looks for me....

Color isn't that big of a deal but it would make them look "finished" so to speak...

I looked for quite some time to have a shop machine these, but no one wanted to touch such a small run, and all required 600$ min just in set up costs

I could polish them

Would people like to see these polished? (Would look like gold ) or possibly painted black? I just worry about the paint getting scraped off but prob not likely as it's a fairly well protected location......

no point in polishing the brass they will tarnish and oxidize again in no time.
