Hey Guys, Checking in here.. I have been looking around but really havent come up with anything good.... If someone can get a lock on a good spot Let everyone know.. I am still working with a buddy of mine to get company ponsered prizes...

as far as food, the concession thing would be a GREAT idea...where are you located and how far is she willing to travel...

also, anybody that is in San jose, I can help transport people..Me and the wife just got a new mini van and I think it will be of some use...

as far as a date is concerned how about three weeks from now?? that would put it at AUgust 28...

What do u guys think about that.????

also can we get a roll a prelimanary count of who will be in for sure..

I know I am along with a friend of mine so thats 2. .

So put 3 for me...

put me down for 3 too.

i feel seascape area would make a good event the first run could be on the trail the second run could be on the large rock 100m down the beach on the right side.

we could charge batteries on the cars in the parting lot.

any time is good for me as long as it is on the weekend. so lets make the offical date the 27th.

I'm in.

But I need directions coming from the Central Valley. Anybody got a GPS waypoint for the location?

I've got a buddy here who has a crawler, I'll mention this thread to him as well.

I know its the 27th, but didn't see any time mentioned.

How do these events run? How many passes at the course?

I'll be bringing my Gecko II and a JPS that's in the works but should be complete by then. Maybe a few others for fun on the beach...

Well it seems as though everything is set... Just to let you guys know.. I still have no clue as what we are going to do for food... I know that i wll be taking a big cooler full of drinks with a me and friend chipping in for them.... Water and Soda....ANYTHING else to drink fellas???

I have another hobby which is smoking /bbqing food. I can make some killer smoked chicken thighs, wings, legs, or if you prefer ribs that is my specialty. Pulled pork sandwiches are also killer. I cannot afford to supply all the meat for everybody, but I will easily spend the time smoking it for free.

I don't know what you are thinking of for food, but if you are like me you like to eat good meat.

Or you could always fend for yourself.

I am still not 100% sure I can go. I should know very soon.

P.S. I already know how gay I must sound with all the talk about smoking meat... I wont even get into how I rub my meat before I smoke it. So here...

We will be there Sunday to practice... probably around 12:30 or 1:00 ...LMk if you can be there,,, I think there will be 3 of us going up...

ALSO I regret to inform that do to unforseen circumstances there will not be prizes offered or a video crew out there....

I'll be bringing a couple DV cameras and a Digital SLR to capture some footage. Maybe we can recruit a spectator to lend a hand.
