Hey, where are you thinking about crawling this weekend? If you are going to the confluence, try to let me know because this isn't far away from me and i would be able to go.

Welcome back Bill, hope the trip was a good one.

Got my High Lift... Less than pleased at this point. Covered in mud which was covering rust... There is an axel bearing missing (how do you lose one of those INSIDE the axle!) only two of the gears work properly. I have yet to find grease anywhere (only bushings on this one)... I can go on and on... I hope to work on it starting tomorrow, I have already stripped it of its major assemblies and am working on the axels and tranny tomorrow. If anyone has a bunch of 5x11x4 bearings (like 37 of them) how much you want?

hobby town has bearing pretty cheap.

good to see you made it back Bill. did you take your crawler with you ... ha ha doubt it.

I think we should definately set up some courses at the confluence. those rocks look pretty challenging.

Hey Bill!

Sorry, Trikster, about all the crappy issues with your hi-lift.

We definitely will set up some sort of courses. I would like to do a rock race this time. Just cones and a stop watch (which I do have).

Lets rock!

Sounds good Bill. I probably won't be up for much either, but I think I will be able to swing out your way to help you setup your Tx.

I got one axle almost completely redone, so there is some hope for me. I was looking through the HL manual and I think I see where the tranny problem might be. There is two of these weird looking hex nuts that have a tiny little flange on them... The flange is only on one side, so if its reversed, I would imagine that is where the binding/clicking is coming from.

I have my rigs finished now and hopefully will come too. I only have 4 batteries though. You guys think that's enough for 2 crawlers? Might have to buy some more huh. How exactly do I get there from Say Vacaville? I typed American river confluence into google maps and it showed me a few pictures. Could someone give me some direction or GPS coordinates I could get driving directions from?

I will run my 2.2 with one 4200mA for all day! I will bring more just in case all day actually happens.

Hey everybody...would you all like to meet earlier than 11am? Say 10am?
