Given all my electrics will be under the hood, I don't see the need for a slightly thicker box to replace my dinky drop box. But I'll report back once I have both installed.

Covered area above rear shocks outlined so you could cut it out for droop setup (rear shock mount inverted) or leave covered for stock rear shock mount setup.
Good deal, We'll look at the options available for rear shock mounting and see what will work best for the application

Yes it can. More than enough room for it.

Got home and checked mine out a bit. I think a little heat gun applied to the front corners of the battery section will help hard case batteries fit down lower a little better .
I'll post pics once I do it.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. TCS should have more boxes in stock after this week as well.

In addition, the rear drop box mold is done. I will knock out a few test parts to verify fit. Once done and approved I figure TCS to have stock of these by the end of next week. Also this drop box will be made of the same material thickness so it should hold up real well.

Thanks again everyone.

It will be just as good. Regarding the cover, what would you all like to see? I'm guessing something like a full cover but do you want any kind of features on it or plain?

By Features I mean, fuel tank, toolbox, exc, exc....

I was thinking of incorporating a spare tire mount on one version of the cover for those that have done that coupe mod on the roll cage. Any thoughts?

I like the fuel tank/cell molded into the top rear cover, it will allow for more room and options for running gear placement. People will be able to paint it to get scale points too

I have a couple ideas for the top cover when you have time to swing by the shop

Welcome to RCC and its toally valid question. Yes, an axle mounted servo will have room to go into the frame thru the suspension cycle.

Da Box is designed for clearance with axle and chassis mounted standard sized servos.
