Default *** Krazed Builds -> 2.2S un-Stuck Chassis ***

Krazed Builds announces their entry into the 2.2S class of competitive crawling.

We introduce you to the un-Stuck line of products from us.

Our heart is in this sport looking for ways to help drivers and hopefully new ones.

The un-Stuck line of parts is our hopes in helping attract new faces and those who want to try something different.

We believe the 2.2S (shafty only) class was created as a way to drive the sport in a growth of new drivers.

It gave veteran drivers a reason to drag all those old axle parts out and build another rig.
We also believe you can get pro level things at entry level with out breaking the banks and still having options.

The un-Stuck line leaves the driver with choices.

The crown of the line - our first 2.2S chassis self named the un-Stuck.

Chassis Material:
2mm 3K Twill Weave Real Carbon Fiber.
This is the same grade you find in many popular race kits
CNC Cut

Skid:
Acetal Delrin
CNC Machined - pocketed for weight relief
Overlapping bottom lip to help protect carbon fiber edge
Countersunk hardware included for transmission
Able to run motor forward or rearward simply by swapping chassis sides

Hardware:
All 3mm Stainless Fasterners (INCLUDED)
4x Axial black Aluminum Cross Supports

Drivetrain:
Drilled for Axial AX10 Transmission (not included)

Axles:
Drivers Choice
Included with the chassis kit is a rear axle upper link plate and hardware designed for the Axial AX10 axles.

Shocks/Suspension:
This chassis was designed around using the popular light weight SCX and Icon shocks. Any 3.5'' shock will fit and work well.

Front Axle Plate:
Drivers Choice - Not Included
We left this option for drivers to decide.

There are many options on the market that work well for this and drivers have their preferences. It also wouldn't help if we sold one plate designed for an axle you're not using right?!

Our testers run the AX axles ..... so our plates wouldn't work for you running AR60 axles. Why pay for something you're not going to use.

We do offer and recommend a couple front plates for you Scorpion axle users.

We have our own Krazed Plates in stock as well as the popular desTroy Plates that are popping up more and more on shafty trucks.

Price - Available:
$60.00 /plus shipping
sku- unax0034
You can pick them up here at RCCrawler
or through our store @

International shipping is available through our store.

Thanks for looking - Any questions feel free to post or pm me!

Builders Info - Ill post up here helpful information for anyone that has questions.

Links - What sizes do I need?

For starters the skid measurement from front to back mounting locations is 2.28''.
On my ruck I run 110mm rear lower links and 105mm front links. This is my link length, Not my eye to eye length with Traxxas ends.

I put roughly a 10* bend in my fronts and roughly a 30* bend in my rear links. This helps follow the skid angle and improve rear clearance.
You can also use that bend to better your wheelbase and getting to the legal 12.5'' when compressed.

For upper links - again this is just the link length and not eye to eye.

Rear uppers I run straight 115mm with 75mm on the front.

What about shocks?

Well I can say the truck was designed with the SCX shocks in use. Any shock with roughly a 3.5'' end to end measurement will work well for you.
From SCX to Traxxas big bores - that part is your preference.

What if I want to run my motor more forward?

Thats the easy part. Spin the skid 180* from whats pictured above.
Mount your closed chassis side on the right and the open on the left.

The motor will now site on the left side and the spur will face the rear.

What front axle plate can I use?

We left that option up to the driver. We don't know what axles you are running so why put something in the kit you cant use? If you are using the AX10 axles like I am then we do have a couple options.

The Krazed Plates allow you to mount everything on your front axle. The Servo sits behind the pumpkin and over the drive line. While we believe these plates work well and allow for tuning options we also got together with Custom Fiber and are carrying their plates instock also.

The desTroy plates from Custom Fiber lower your servo more for CG and give you the option of mounting your battery above or below it on the left front corner (slight axle sanding for clearance). They also come with a little bolt on shelf to mount your electronics if you choose to.

If you are using AR60 axles then theres still some great options. 5th Dimension - Dravtech - Dlux ...... all make some great servo/truss options that have proven to work well in the comp scene.

Where can I get links made?

We got that covered by reaching out to another vendor and working together. DLux Fab has been the go to place for many of the other chassis's out so we reached out and Erik jumped to help. He makes the lowers in Ti and with some measurements from you he can do your uppers depending on what axle you have so both AX and AR-60 drivers can get up and running.

Thanks again, Ill post up more as the un-Stuck chassis develops with setups and parts.

We don't sell links for it sorry. With different axles and drivers going for 50/50 or 60/40 splits in setup its just something we opted not to carry at the moment.

There are a few vendors on here that make them custom for people that Im sure can help you out. You could try Blue Monkey, Dlux or some of the U4 custom fab guys.

In the second thread I did post what Im running for front and rear lengths both top and bottom, I use the older Axial Scorpion axles.

You could get straight ones from Vanquish and bend them easily yourself if you wanted. I also put the skid measurement so if you wanted to have someone make them they could use that.

Thanks for looking

It's a very good looking chassis. I wanted to buy this, but the cost of shipping overseas was to high for me. Are there any other shipping options?

Unfortunately not, shipping is all done at the USPS rates. Theres just Priority that comes with tracking and First class that is less but no tracking.
