I've got it now as well...feel like an idiot for being so fixated on lift generated by forward movement and thinking the plane should stay in place on the treadmill.

That's my one mistake for 2008.

Not even a mistake...it's just easy to not understand the physics of flight as they don't exactly apply in most situations we're involved in.

Maybe so, but I fly RC planes almost daily. I should've been all over that.

R/C planes defy physics...I swear, I'm blown away every time I see modern R/C planes fly! Just as cool, or even cooler is the good R/C helo guys!
