so the wife doesn't like how much time i spend with my "toy car" and that i take it apart so much. " why are you taking it apart? again." "didn't you put it together right?" " don't bring home anymore rocks" of course she doesn't know that i'm installing new parts...and spending money on them. just wondering if you guys are getting static from your wives or girlfriends? (about you "toy car") |

Mine does the same thing...... " If you don't quit phukin with those damn toys and come upstairs and spend some time with me....I am gonna throw em all away" Then I just remind her of how much she spends on movies and all of her scrapbooking shit. And then I remind her that I actually use this stuff, unlike her and her scrapbooking crap. Then she will usually shut up for a couple days. |

I guess Im pretty lucky,my wife only gives me a little grief about how many rc's I have. When I told her I was going to build a course behind the garage last week her response was"cool maybe I can drive some." Im just not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

My last girlfriend asked me to stop playing with my trucks so much. I asked her not to bleed once a month. That worked well.

I started getting some grief about my "toys". So I built her one & that worked out perfect. She doesn't ever drive it so it just ended up as another one of my rigs  Thats it in my avatarI'm trying to explain to her that she really needs another one since I've beat hers all up  |

before i had a crawler, i played with my savages and i took her legs out at about 35-40 mph. so she dont like the nitros, i know for a fact because she ran over my savage x with a ford escort. she dont care about the scorpion because she can out run it.

I dont get any grief and when I want to make a little extra money and sell one she gives me a hard time.....I honestly dont know how she puts up with it but she has a comp tlt and an axial thats "Hers only" and the only time I can touch it is when she breaks it  |

I'm homosexual so I don't have a nagging wife. But my significant other is always telling me "Come in from the garage and have sex with me,or I'm going to bed!" So I come in from the garage and satisfy him. Then I can spend what I want.

my wife is completely different. I bought txt first, she put it together while i was sitting on couch playing games. Bought stick crawler, she got mad i put it together when she wasnt here. now she is looking for what she wants to build. We used to race 1/8 scale buggies, and she came out and ran the computer everytime. She loves fiberglassing boxes for stereos and r/c. I guess i lucked up. LOL

Im a very lucky guy my wife NEVER says anything to me about my rc stuff only thing i ever hear from her is when im selling something. And she tells me "your going to regret that if you sell it you watch" and yup she is always right Ohhh and one other thing she does is gets mad when i go to the hobby store with her she tells me im a cheap ass and that im not buying that cheap suff that if im going to do it to do it right and get the good stuff She has even told me to build her a crawler because she feels bad when i cant find anyone to go crawl with me and i end up going by my self. But there is one catch on that deal it HAS to be PINK! |

Gotta break em in right. I raced karts for 15 years and traveled all over the country pulling a trailer staying in motels and eating out. She knows what I'm capable of spending which makes RC look very reasonable. Not to mention the enormous amount wrench time involved to keep two karts competitive. She's very supportive of my RC addiction.  |

I used to have an allotment going over to a "hobby account" every month. As long as I didnt touch the main account she never said anything. I think I need to start that back up..
