i had an escort way back...it was the model with the ground effects and no back seats. gt ?? i forget..many moons ago.

|  that was a Ford + Cosworth venture ...... kind of like what Shelby does for Mustangs over here. Civic vs Escort .......... definately go with the Civic or anything Honda. Heck if you can find a CRX in good shape Id pick that up over the Escort GT no matter what 4cyl you put in it. Dependability is levels above the Escort plus you arent paying 1.18 for fuel these days. Your Mazda 4cyl isnt gonna help the wallet on that end. owning an escort is like riding a moped ........ great idea untill your seen on it  |
