Without a doubt, Dimebag Darrel. RIP brother, the metal world hasn't been the same since, his is a talent we won't soon see again.

SRV first, Angus Young second, Bob Deal third.

Bob Deal (Mick Mars) is one of the most under rated guitar players ever. What he plays in the Crue is just what he does to pay the bills, his skills run MUCH deeper than what you hear from him in Motley Crue.

CC Deville. Probably my favorite.
Joe Satriani, Carlos Carvazo from Quite Riot was good also.

I forget who it was that played for David Lee Roth but that guy could transition really good.

Not sure he's mentionale as a greatest, but the dude from "Living Color" played some Killer rifs. The solo in Cult of Personality, was Awesome.

Steve Vai was the phenom player from the "Eat Em and Smile" and "Skyscraper" albums. Jason Becker replaced Vai for "A little aint enough" but was diagnosed with Lou Gherigs disease and can't play anymore. Becker still is one of the best "shredder" solo guys ever. The stuff he did with Marty Friedman in Cacophony was crazy if you like that kind of guitar shred. Vernon Reid is the guitar player from Living Color and is absolutely worthy of being noted as a greatest. I just wonder why in the hell they ever recorded Glamour Boys and then released it as a single. I saw them not long ago and he still kills it.

Vernon Reid

Last year a buddy convinced me to go to the "Experience Hendrix" show when it stopped in Minneapolis.

From the show two artists stood out from all the rest, Vernon Reid and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

George Lynch of Dokken was the shit back in the day! I was into a lot of the neo classical stuff from Tony Macalpine, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen and Marty Friedman. I think that Jeff Loomis of Nevermore is one of my favorites now.

Saw SRV and Clapton in concert together. Both are great.

Best has to be Pink Floyds David Gilmore. Nuf said.

I got a big stack of Hendrix records that I very much enjoy.

I can't think of his name right now, but the dude from Dream Theater is great. John Petrucci. That's it.
