Phil Rudd Not flashy, no bullshit, just straight up solid, steady as a metronome. For some flashy smoke and mirrors crap I like Jacob Armen. Last edited by cuzican; 03-11-2011 at 01:57 PM. |

Marco was awesome with Necrophagist... it's a shame that he didn't stick around too long. Since you posted a drummer in a death metal band I'll post up a drummer that inspires me. If you notice... he plays double strokes on his kick pedals. edit: most people would probably get bored with this guy but if you are a drummer or any type of technical musician/music fan you would completely understand Last edited by helhedded; 04-05-2011 at 03:44 PM. |

Speaking of bad news, CreepyCrawl's signature brought to my attention something I haven't seen anywhere until today. He had a link to a great Youtube video featuring Joe Morello's drumming from a Dave Brubeck Quartet song. I always very much enjoy his little drum solos in the songs. I have many of the quartet's albums because of this, moreso than the fact it's Dave Brubeck. After reading a few comments, I see Joe Morello has passed away recently. I wish him well. Here is the song from CreepyCrawl's signature. Very good. Last edited by EeePee; 05-03-2011 at 05:43 PM. |

How about Ray Luzier? Love the drums in this song. Unbelievable toward the end! I guess he is the new drummer for Korn now. |
