In less you want a 550 can size motor. The stock pump looks like it came from the same mold as graupner one. The only diff is the shaft size and a brass bushing. I made the bushing out of brass tubing. Done no need to wait. No need to spend more money. Here is another place to buy jet/boat stuff Cornwall Model Boats Here is a deal on a 3200 kv outrunner that you can't pass up. I bought four. http://www.integy.com/st_prod.html?p...529&p_catid=95 Carefully make a aluminum coil as close to the motor as you can for cooling. Or run it for a while and measure the temp. May not need more cooling. Just so you know. Graupner made a sprint boat that is now discontinued. The NQD boat is a perfect copy. Graupner did a killer job of coping the 1 to 1 boats. So the NQD sprint boat has a great hull. Turns on a dime. Evan |

Not completely true. Yes they look very similar but material and construction are much better with the Graupner unit. Shaft size is larger(3mm) on the Graupner vs. stock(2.0mm or 2.2mm depending on when it was made) and the prop is larger on the Graupner also. Not by much but about 1mm overall from what I could tell. The inlet opening is bigger on the Graupner as is the outlet, again about 1mm overall. My boat is headed for Canadian waters..... | |

I just did not want to spend 46.00 + shipping for a .040 " in impelersize increase and I don't expect .040 " will help my boat speed. Like i said NQD used the same molds. As in the pump too. Toyo I saw you sold it. Just got burned out on the whole boat thing ? Evan |
