I restored a couple wooden boats too but I could never afford wood
Chris Craft and wooden boats are way too hard to maintain.

I eventually got a fiberglass Chris Craft. It was a 1971 Chris Craft Lancer and it had a Buick V6 225. It would go about 45mph if the ice chest was in the right location.

One of the boats I restored was a cruiser. It was a single screw though. Originally had a Ford 312 Y Block but I re-powered it with a Mercruiser (Chevy) 350 Magnum EFI out of a wrecked ski boat. It drank petrolium too but I could get that 28 foot cruiser up on plane, something it was never designed to do LOL. Sounded like an offshore race boat!

Unfortunately the only pictures I have of it are not worthy of this "Cool Pictures" thread.

I guess this statement is not "politically correct" but boats just look better when they're occupied by one or more women

That's a 1962 Blue Jack 28. Blue Jacks were built in Sacramento. I have been aboard several Cavaliers and the Blue Jack is similar but more robust.
