That took long enough. ISS has been up there for a long time. I’d have grown and selling space weed by now.

The 1938 Railton Special, Blows my mind that they were building this kind of stuff in 1938 and running over 350mph. Not sure about the guy sitting out front with no crash protection other than the body at 350mph. But then again they didn't know better. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railton_Special Railton Special - Land Speed Racing History |

Yeah it was back then the racers should have collected the stupid silly massive paycheks, not the overprotected pussies of today. Hell back in the day people drove pretty much as fast as today, on POS tires and not even a seatbelt. Steriling Moss once had to finish a race driving the one side wheels on the grass to make sure he could finish the race on the sad remains of his tires. |

Anyway, I think they were more interested in light weight than any kind of crash protection. They did know better. | |

at 350 mph crash protection is immaterial.

| Re: Cool Pictures Not always true, a crash was survived at 610mph with only bumps and bruises. If the vehicle was designed to protect the driver..it is possible to come out ok. Fastest car crash survived | Guinness World Records |
