^^Second one is a render.

The Subies have that same cult like following and mod community. Lots of guys lift the Trek like I have and put BFGs or the like on them. I kinda dig it.

I have to admit, when I had that Journey as a loaner from the dealer while my 200 was getting warranty work done, I wasn't sure what would be more interesting to do with one, slap lower springs on it with Avenger R/T struts and street oriented tires or leave it stock height and throw some all terrains at it.....found BFG makes their All Terrains in the stock 225/65R17 and found myself looking to see what rims were availabe to stick the 245/65R17 sized A/Ts like Jeep puts on the Trailhawk package KL Cherokee

Yep, they lower 'em too. Not my cup of tea for what I do with mine, but IMHO they look better than the Imprezza does due to the fender flares and body molding. It's too bad Subie won't put the WRX turbo mill in one.

Nah. For what I do it's just lots of cash to wear out tires (probably a wash for me though in reality) and get less MPG every day. The look has grown on me over time though.

That's the first I've seen a lowered Crosstrek, kinda looks bad ass that way......then again, I wasn't exactly expecting to that treatment to work so well ckr the Journey as well.

Mine has been pretty good other than some minor issues, which Subaru stood behind 100%. The '18 and up is a completely new car, 92% of it is new to be exact, and it's much better. For me, I can't get anything with full time AWD that even comes close to the dry and secure cargo space while returning the mileage figures that I get.

Interesting article here. Used from 1956 up to the 1980s. More here on Wikipedia
