Toyofast, if you read this, make Wes post his flip jeep lol! You might not know Wes, but every trip he goes out on he flips that dang jeep. The Haz-fest summer 2004 I think he snapped the top bolts off his turnbuckle and the tire was laying to ground!! I hate that damn creves... |

Why would you replace Toy axles w/ Dana44s? Just change out the birfields with one of the strong aftermarket replacements and your are just as strong (maybe stronger) as the 44s you are swapping in. My DD is a 2005 Dodge 2500 quad cab CTD. I bought it during all this employee pricing stuff and got a nice deal. I bought the truck to tow my Jeep. Its an 87 Wrangler w/ Dana44s, t-18 tranny, Dana 20 t-case, 4.2 w/ weber carb, 4" Wagoneer springs, MORE shackles, and 36" swampers. |

| Bringing this one back, again. My '05 Dodge 2500, 610 Cummins/auto. Put a Snugtop/Snuglid fiberglass tonneau cover on it, also have a billet grill and bumper insert ordered. I might get a bedrug liner for the 'trunk'. Then I have a Alpine CD and Alpine amplifier that will eventually end up in this truck. When the remaining 93,500 miles of warranty have expired, then I'll start with the engine mods. Right now 610 ft/lbs of torque seems to be enough. ;) |

| This thing is just a constant work in progress. Wanted something I could take out on the trail and not worry about body damage. It's an '85, has over 190k on the body, the Chevy smallblock and 700R4 far less. Just installed a Dana 44 in the rear with a new Powerlock. It's sitting on 33 12.5's and around 5" of lift. Would be 6" if not for the extra weight of the bigger engine and trans. Running Rancho RS9000X shocks all the way around, and an RS5000 stabilizer. Currently having front and rear bumpers fabricated, along with a set of sliders. The pic doesn't really do the flex justice - if you notice the rear end hasn't even started to "stuff" yet. I'm installing a set of limiting straps this weekend, the extended brake lines are maxed out even in the poser shot. This is the biggest wheel and tire combo I'd recommend running with the stock front Dana 30. My daily driver is a VW Passat GLX 4Motion V6 wagon, silver. Looks like every other Passat GLX 4Motion V6 wagon out there, not point in posting pics. |

BTW, so I don't look like a liar, the Rancho stabilizer was installed a week after this pic was taken.

| Sorry, one more. The XJ has just taken on towing duty since I no longer have a pickup. This is with a 5" drop hitch. Picking up the 10" drop, 10" extended draw bar on Friday. |

My current truck is a '04 F250 xlt. 5.4l, auto, plow prep, 600 watt stereo, lots of other little goodies. I love this truck, I've always wanted one, now I finally have one. In a perfect world it would be a v10, but the 5.4 is plenty for everything I use it for. My old truck, which I still own, is a '78 3/4 ton Suburban. 400ci small block, TH400, NP203 converted to part time, Dana 44 front, GM 14bolt rear around 44k original miles. 4" lift, RS5000 shocks, dual battery kit. I bought the truck as a plow truck, the mount comes off with six nuts. It's currently up for sale, but I'm not sure I really want to sell it. REALLY good truck. The body is starting to rust out on me though. -Jay Last edited by BigJay; 06-16-2006 at 03:03 PM. |

OK, a little something different, my one off, Jesse James built, 2002 West Coast Chopper CFL, 131 CI motor, 140 HP, baker 6 speed, 200 mm rear tire, straight LBC pipes, 38 degree rake, 4" stretch, will flat scare the S$%T out of you! Fast as hell and louder than most drag cars. no speedo, blinkers, no gauges or horn, as jesse once told me, " if you can't fit in your pockets or if it falls out when you are riding, you shouldn't have brought it anyway! " oh yeah, it's real, not a fake |
