still relatively new to this site, but I have to say that trying to read some of the posts are damn near reading a child's first grade sentence. Are a lot of you all surfing and posting on your phone, or are you just that damn lazy?  Not grouping you all together as there are plenty of good posts, but it's a pretty high percentage. I just tried to read a post that was a run-on sentence and was full of acronyms and using the wrong words. Especially if it is a tech thread, make it a useful thread and spell it out! No, i'm not an English teacher either. Off my soapbox, sorry......  |

Ive noticed the same thing, and when the wife text me and i say what the F%%%%%%%%%%%%% did you just say. Reminds me of when I used AOL messenger. Lots of High School kids can't type/write or use grammar worth a shit anymore.

I honestly believe grammar will soon be extinct. Technology has a lot to do with this but texting can not take all the blame. We are to blame. What hope is there once American society accepts ebonics as a language? Has anyone heard a teen use L.O.L. while speaking? That really blew my mind! |

I agree.Run-on sentences drive me nuts!!!!................see,perfect use of punctuaction and it only took just a second more to type it out.

Maybe about a 3rd of my posts I do on my iPhone. I'm not the best writer. The only difference I notice in my posts that I do from my phone then a computer is that I use periods instead of commas double tapping the space bar is so much easier. (posted from my iPhone) |

I find it a little ironic that the foreigners ALWAYS apologize for their english/spelling and I can almost always understand them better than the english speeking kids that post on here.
