i hav eto say that brain was better than lain. but not tim. i did not care for green naugahyde though so i could be biased.

Did you know that before Tim it was Jay Lane? Jay more or less wrote most of the drum parts for the first Primus album, Suck On This.

IMO, bands prove their worth at live shows. Anybody can record some shit and pay a guy to fix it....

Besides, that's where you can buy stuff straight from the band and not have 30 middlemen skimming off the top of the sale.

I agree, but I have yet to experience a good sounding live show since 1995 (or so) with Pink Floyd at OSU Stadium. And the drugs are likely what made it sound good. Weeeee.

I'm tired of the crappy small venue crap sound.

Humm....sounds like you go to the wrong places. We have a few around Houston that kick ass...and the tickets are never more than $20.
