The antics in Top gear are purely entertainment. No real merit should be given to them.

mostly yes, but diesel power mag. curnched the #'s and accualy did a test of the trucks under the same circustances

Ford for overall quality and power (and looks)
Dodge for the motor just expect the truck to fall apart around it
Chevy for comfort, and the allisons are a brutally strong trans'

I did notice that Ford was the only one that wasn't on the OP's "heard bad" list

Worked on new f150's. Wasn't impresse with the interior design, who needs a door for behind the seat in a standard cab? Just more parts to wear out, rattle sag, create leaks.... also know gas fords have a history of striped spark plug holes/stuck plugs.

Weird timing, but I picked up a friends mail, and had a recall notice for their 2010 silverado and 2010 camaro.
