Not related. A little bit of everything.

It's what people with young kids want for ease of putting their kids in back seat, not what hot hatch enthusiasts want. Large difference.

Modeled after the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the $299, 2,704-piece Technic took nearly three years to design, approve, and build. Lego’s own artisans worked closely with Porsche to develop the 1:8 scale 911, often visiting the brand’s development center in Weissach, Germany to get a first-hand look.

As with most Technic products, the GT3 RS features moving mechanical components, including active engine cylinders, a functional steering wheel, and an operational PDK transmission. The replica dual-clutch uses rubber bands to flip through the gears (see it in action in the video above), and is actually controlled by tiny paddles on the steering wheel.

In addition, the Lava Orange sports car boasts red shocks and yellow brake calipers just like its road-going cousin, or at least it will once you manage to piece it together. There is a detailed instruction manual, however it’s larger than most novels and will probably take a few sittings to get through. The Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS hits stores on June 1.

For 300 bucks I'd better be able to crash it in the nearest parking lot. I'll take the Lego version over a static model, at least if you get tired of it, you can build other stuff.

The Civic Type R has always been a go-to car for the people who want to look cool and go fast. But that also means that quite a few of them have been crashed, especially at the Nurburgring.

Some owners may try to hide the damage when they sell them on, but there's no way to do that with this Type R, which suffered a massive crash during the first day of May. That's one heck of a bad way to end the week!

The Nurburgring is once again open for amateur racers to prove their metal. You turn up, pay the toll and do a bit of motorsport. However, you might want to invest in a racing harness, because a regular seatbelt isn't going to be of much use in an incident like this one.

The video below shows how the Type R was already out of control, approaching the corner slightly sideways, then clipping the grass. Could lift-off oversteer be to blame? Right before this corner, there's a crest where the rear goes light. It's famous for catching FWD hot hatchbacks out. Just search Megane Schwedenkreuz and you'll find similar incidents on Youtube. At this point, there's not much the driver can do except brace for impact, as he is carrying way too much speed.

The Civic Type R hits the protective barrier on its left side which sends it into the air, landing on its roof and rolling over multiple times.

This sort of crash is usually only seen in motorsports. Other motorists are clearly concerned for the safety of the driver, as you can see a Golf R, a Clio RS 200 and a Colt CZT stopping by the side of the track to check things out.

All we can say to the driver is: hard luck bro, get well and how much for that VTEC?

^ it will be on craigslist in the next few days with a description somewhere along these lines: slightly used Honduh, minor body damage. low miles, owned by a lady that took good care of it.

Tow driver must have been super stoked to be able to drive the Nurburgring.

Assuming he doesn't have to go fetch crashed cars every day out there...

As for the performance... Kids that get bored with the Honduhs are now buying used Subies. Subaru, the new Honduh. I'm buying a BMW. Or a Corvette. Or a Mitsubishi.

That track is a prime example of an ancient Argentinian (back)road. (Indiana Jones bridges, ftw!!!)
Lots of water and wind erosion. And the other car(s) that went ahead of him also pulled rocks in with the front wheels when they cut corners.

And as always:objects appear larger on screen...

"WRC Argentina 2016" i think thats as close as you will ever get in the summer to drive on ballbearings.
Trackion must be on/off a lot with those pebbles on the "road"
