Same goes for military APO addresses. UPS won't ship here but USPS does. I've been overseas for 4yrs and I can't count the times I've had to pay TWO shipping costs, one to my stateside address and then to have my mom forward it to me. I just don't understand, its been a frustrating time. Since a lot of the stuff we can't get locally(I'm in Bosnia) my wife and I are always ordering stuff on line. In all of the times I've bought and sold stuff over the internet only three times have I had a problem(knock on wood) and thats because the fcukers didn't send what I paid for. Paypal stepped up and gave me .17cents one time on an item I paid over $500 on, then stiffed me and this last time I got my money back. Point is, shipping to AK, HI, and APO's should be straight forward, especially with USPS. Oh well, I usually end up taking an empty suitcase back with me and fill it up with stuff I can't get through the mail.
