| Milwaukee heated jacket and brushless drill/impact combo
I'll right so I needed a high viz jacket for work and I started the night shift outside in the middle of winter. Also I needed a drill for the house and I ran across this Milwaukee heated jacket you can buy the jacket and 12v battery combo for around $200 or just the jacket for 150. The down side people said it didn't last long. Apon further research I found you can buy an adapter And run 18v packs thru it with much longer run time. And you can charge any device that takes a USB type cable!!! So I got the jacket, adapter and a brushless drill combo The drills are sweet!! smooth, metal chucks and just well made IMO. The jacket: I can get around 8hrs run time on high heat. It would be better if the pockets were heated but oh well the oversize battery is a tight fit in the battery pocket but it works. And the overall quality of the jacket is very nice. Last edited by Constant Threat; 12-03-2013 at 05:44 PM. |

Do you feel weighed down by the battery? I have to wear Hi Vis all the time.... Do they have matching pants?

With the 18v adapter, does it come a BEC?? Or do you need to buy one separately? If so I highly recommend the CCBEC-Pro! |

I love my 18v Milwaukee drill. My boss has a 20v Dewalt and I have had to lend him my drill a few times because his drill doesn't have the power to do what mine can. My dad just bought that same jacket and loves it. I thought about getting one maybe I'll have to go pick one up... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk |

Electrically heated jacket- interesting idea. I'm curious to see how well it holds up.

| Well it was all ordered separately on eBay. Jacket, Adapter, and drill impact driver combo. If you already have Milwaukee tool its even better just use your existing batteries. Dewalt makes one to but the only one in high viz was orange real tree. And I much prefer Milwaukee tools over dewalt. Being able to charge my cell phone in my pocket has been one of the best features. Got to test how weather resistant it is the other night and it did very well. Kept me warm and dry. Another plus is the hood is big enough to fit over a hard hat. One thing to keep in mind is that sizes run VERY SMALL. I wear a xl in a carhartt jacket. This jacket i bought a 2x and could have even bought a 3x and been fine. The heating elements are only on the chest and back to keep your core warm. Pockets would have been nice.
