Tank Battle | Board Game | BoardGameGeek

Board game geek has listings on nearly 60,000 games.
Tank battle looks interesting.

Very nice!
I am looking to add that classic to my collection.
That is a classic I have yet to learn.

Played this classic last night.
Destroy all your opponents population (or steal them) to win.
Often ends with complete annihilation of all players for a no winner scenario.

Tonight maybe

Looks like post apocalyptic Axis & Allies.
Should be bloody fun

Goofy, slow, & curmudgeon extraordinaire.
The site is a sight to be held.
Flying Buffalo Game Company's Home Page

Reminds me of high school, 486's, & BBS's.

Played a couple new ones to me this weekend

Fun & silly, quick kill everyone around you kinda card game.
Great quality graphics & components.

Then there is this one:

Urban Sprawl
A city planning / building game.
Really different mechanics in this one with very nice components.
Tons of paths to victory.

Played some Galaxy Truckers this weekend.
What a fun, cool game.
You start out with a free for all tile grab to build your ship.
Then you launch & start collecting cargo, avoiding Pirates, trying to not have your ship ripped apart by meteors (space is a harsh place.)
Lots of easy to play & learn fun with enormous amounts of replay.

Probably going to break out either zombies or martians from Twilight Productions this week. Both are easy to learn and are different every time you play plus who doesn't like killing zombies

Ohhh
Twilight Creations

I have not played those. Look cool tho.

I normally would not recommend a dice game but Steve Jackson Games Martian Dice is a really fun quick game.

Played this one last night for the first time.
Undermining, mining alien worlds for loot. Reminded us of Dig Dug.
Fun & quick

I started playin Settlers of Catan about 10 years ago. This was my first glimpse at the European gaming scene (Euro games.)
I fell head over heals for the game at first & then developed a love hate relationship based on the luck factor of the dice.

I have searched for the Euro game I love more ever since.
This is it.

El Grande has all the tactics, strategy, & interaction I need with nearly 0 luck.

I highly recommend this game if you love strategy & hate dice giving & taking the win.

Of the 26 new games I have learned to play (& played) this year, El Grande is the best hands down.
