The jeep should have parked closer to the vette. ![]() |

Close but no cigar. To truly out asshole the vette douche he'd have been about 18" closer to the drivers side so said douche would have to either crawl over from the passenger side or through the back.

Yup! I never drive what most would consider "nice" vehicles so I am not phased by pissed off assholes kicking in a fender or door when I park next to them. If someone has a nice rig and they park over several spots way out in the back 40 I have zero issues with them whatsoever. But park close to the door like that and you'd better have your climbing shoes on cause you're going in from anywhere but the drivers door. ![]() |

i just woulda tucked the vette into the left space as close to the curb as possible so the people parking to the left had plenty of space. i dont get why people park like this when its guaranteed to piss people off. i just dont get it... ![]() Quote:
i always park my car where nobody else parks and walk across the parking lot. i'll even park in a parking lot across the street if it looks less likely to get somebody parking next to me. Last edited by badhoopty; 09-24-2014 at 12:23 PM. | |

I wonder how long it took the cops to ticket the jeep.

I have been lucky enough to drive several $150k+ cars in my life. I never took one to Walmart. Lots of restaurants, and always parked either far away, or in a corner with a buddy blocking the open side. If your car is that special, then you do the work to protect it. Parking like an asshat does nothing but get you blocked in. When I drove my Excursion ( 28" of lift) I had someone park close to me and not allow me enough room to get in. Luckily I walked up their hood onto their roof and stepped into the truck. Left several waves in the car, but I got in. Lots of people watched, but the police never showed up, so I guess it was all good. |

I've done that before to said ass-clowns, parked close enough like the silver Jeep to the right, so that I was still inside the line on the one side so as to not waste another space, but I backed in so my passenger side was to the offender. The other thing to do when the offender parks on an angle, is to park in such a way that it blocks the rear of the car, so either they can't back out, or they have to pull forward into the bushes to be able to jockey their prized possession out of the spot.

| ![]() I've tried that before, and I drive a car everyone considers normal. It doesn't work. Some people park by judging the lines, others by how far away they are from the car next to them. I always get the latter.

| ![]() Seems like being that paranoid about parking your car would really take away a lot of the fun of owning it. I have always wanted a '76 Ram Charger with a wrecker bumper, just for situations like that. (Like the truck off of Simon and Simon). |
