Default Trump 2016?

Apparently he's made it official that he's running. I only bring this up because I remember a fair amount of folks on here a few years ago saying they would vote for him.

So, would anyone actually do it?

I think its quite comical he claims to want to build a wall around all of Mexico. Talk about overselling your campaign.

A guy at work mentioned this today. He was all excited about it and said he would definitely vote for him.

For the bulk of my life it has either been a Bush or Clinton. I don't want either one, and sure as hell don't want Trump.

He may have been able to pull it off in the 90's, but not now.
Although, the GOP has run their party like a reality tv show for the past 12 years and he does have the most tv facetime... oh shit.

In his speaches he made more business sense which would benefit America. Straight forward and to the point. Far better than Hillary.

And there was a reality tv star that people wanted for presidency.....I forgot his name..

Edit: Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty.

If the comments I on Yahoo last night are any indication (unless the more radical right posters had gone to bed by then), only a few seemed to take him seriously, and the ones that did and weren't obviously trolling were saying things that made me think we need more loony bins in this country

I was reading something today that tallied up how many times he said "I" or "me" in his 45 minute speech. Came out to 276 times or something like that.

We don't need a businessman, we aren't a business. We need someone who'll take the moneyed influence out of politics.

You serious? You do know America has a first name, and it's not b-o-l-o-g-n-a?

It's C-A-P-I-T-A-L-I-S-T.

Like was said that'll never happen, because of the first name.

He'd be way down the list on who I'd choose, but still above Hillary. Unfortunately, the last few elections I've voted for people who I thought would have less chance of Effing things up more than they are.

at the very least trump has a decent resume other than just playing career politics.

i love his attitude on reforming trade agreements, and i also kinda love that he doesnt gaf about offending people or being political and not really saying anything.

that said him as pres is scary. maybe... maybe its just what we need.

He would push the division of the people to the breaking point... IMHO, that is not what we need.

Thats the one thing I like about him. He speaks his mind because he has nothing to lose. If he doesn't get the gig, he's still a millionaire. I loved when he called the people currently in office a bunch of losers.

His public support is so low they decided to hire movie extras to play the roles of cheering Trump supporters. Typical Trump theatrics best showman since PT Barnum.

He will be a HUGE wrench in the GOP works if he makes it through the Primaries super fun to watch the guy is totally off the wall every where and no where all at the same time..

Haha, unfortunately imo he's just a self promoting whore...oh wait so are most of the politicians . I love that he says what he thinks and no apologies or bs, but he stands no real chance of election. Time to get rid of the two party system, it's been two card monty one party against us and then the other....like taking turns ****ing we the people and laughing at us while sucking the economy dry for their own benefit...like a vampire or leach.

While Trump is a good businessman, he does have issues...

1) Lack of Diplomacy in sensitive subjects at national level talk.
2) Macro scale thinking and thats all.
3) A bit of narcissism.
4) Will solve current issues in ways that future generations will pay.
5) Does not have a humble background..
6) Potential attitude for fostering capitalism and world war 3
