Tap deliveries today...one RC, and one non-RC. Starting with the non-RC, a couple 'goodies' for my Toyota RAV4. On the left, replacement sequential LED Town signals, work smoke-colored lenses, for the side mirrors. On the right, a "plug & play" add-on for the TPMS, which will allow me to see actual tire pressure for wack individual tire. Then, for the RC - the Team Associated RC10CC "Classic Clear" Edition Kit. I ordered this last year...and, like countless others, I've been waiting months & months for mine to ship. While these are strong enough to run (all the non-metal parts are cast polycarbonate, ie Lexan), this one will never see a track. In fact, other than (maybe) to take photos ands/or shoot non-running video, it won't even see the ground...it won't even have an ESC, it motor. However, it will have a servo - I have a (cheap $12) clear-case servo on the way, specifically for this "shelf queen" build. Sent from my SM-S928U using Tapatalk |

I love UAG! Underrated cases IMO. My iPhone 14 Pro Max was on the handlebar of my motorcycle and the mount broke at about 70 MPH. The phone flew off and went tumbling and sliding down the highway. Apple crash detection notified authorities. When I finally found my phone the fire cops had arrived and said fire trucks and an ambulance were on the way so luckily, they were able to cancel. Anyway, my screen broke in the very corner, but the phone was completely usable. Then months later the same phone and case took a tumble when I rolled my Kia Soul. The phone crash detection once again called the authorities, but this time it was real. The phone did not sustain any further damage. | |||

Perusing a local gun forum classified, this one caught my eye. Unfired Ruger SR1911 9mm LW Commander. Stainless slide, grey anodized aluminum alloy frame. Great price. Clicked the ad, found it to be one of my neighbors selling! Texted him, gave him grief for having an unfired pistol in his house, and claimed it! Makes a perfect mate for my all stainless SR1911 .45 Government! |

Finally got a few things in today, after usps decided to drag their tails gettin them to me. Done some tradin with vewee25 n got a nice redcat asecnt. Pretty stoked to give it a run. Ive seen quite a few, just have got to run one myself. Also picked up a couple bodies from jconcepts. The corvair lakewood n the new warlord tucked body. Both really good lookin bodies, the corvair has more rear overhang than i thought it would, so we'll see how that goes. May have to weld up a rear bumper for it. Now to come up with a couple paint schemes Sent from my SM-A516V using Tapatalk |

AR buffer tube adapter for the Bug A Salt. Buddy of mine was giving me a hard time saying now it has to have a tax stamp since it's now a Salt Barreled Rifle. Last edited by hpiguy; 04-25-2024 at 10:30 AM. |

Consider this a "two-fer". I purchased the FlySky Noble NB4+ (to replace the NB4, which I'll be selling soon)...and, then, I purchased a machined aluminum cage/frame for the display. Took me a few weeks to find a seller offering a blue one (the 'standard' color options seem to only be black, red, purple, & gold), so I'm glad I never gave to looking. Both my bank apps updated and my old Motorola could no longer operate them, and a small number of other apps I don't often use. But work uses a newer app, so I could see one day soon it would update and my phone would be basically useless besides for calls and texts (which would be FINE BY ME, but for work, I need the apps). So I broke down and got a new phone. Been using Motorolas for over a decade and they most always take the abuse they have living with my. lol So I stuck with it, and picked up a 2023 Edge. 2024 had a few newer options, but was 700. The 2023 was 599 normally, and I got it direct from Motorola for 350. Was easy to get it working with my Verizon Prepaid account. Is a nice phone, screen is gr8, really fast operating apps. My old phone, the work app took almost a minute sometimes to open. The new phone is 2 seconds, maybe 3 so that's bonerus. Grabbed the Motorola case as Otterbox doesn't have one for this year phone. Not much new besides a 45 watt wall work usb-c charger and a car charger and a few usb-c 6ft 90* cords for the 1:1s. Do have a cart full at Amain again. lol But that's for another post some other day. |

Technically, not my "latest purchase"...but, it is the latest delivery of a purchase. From Kraken RC, for the VESLA.5, there's (going counter-clockwise, starting in the lower left) the Super-Duty Hardened Steel Transmission Gear Set, machined Billet Aluminum Transmission Case, machined Billet Aluminum Gear Plate (which is also the motor mount), Hardened Steel Differential (ie spider) Gears, and Machined Hardened Steel 57T Spur Gear. Now, I just have to wait for shipment & delivery of the VESLA.5 SBK (ie Self Build Kit) For those who aren't familiar with the VESLA.5, or Kraken RC, it is a large-scale clone (of much higher quality) of the HPI Baja 5B. Kraken RC only products 1/5 scale RCs...almost entirely RTRs & ARTRs, but they did release one previous vehicle (VEKTA.5) as a limited run kit, and now that are releasing a limited run of VESLA.5 kits - only 20 electric & 20 gas versions (I got the second-to-last electric). To give you an idea of how huge the spur gear is, I placed a poker chip (go Golden Knights) next to the spur gear. |
