Default How to start a scale garage

Was just curious if anyone has any tips or tricks to start a scale garage? I have access to lots of building materials but not sure what to use or where to start. Looking to do something to hold a wraith,scx10,and a slash plus leave a bay open for my next project I'm going to be starting as soon as I decide what to build next. So in the meantime looking to start a garage for them.

First decide what size floor area you need or have space for, for example I/2" MDF is good for the floor and 1/8" hardboard for the walls. You can substitute whatever you like as far as materials go, what you have laying around ect. Decide if you just want to just use it as a photo booth/background, or a full on miniature workshop. Keep it simple or go the whole hog, it's up to your imagination. Hope this helps a little, to get you started.

Are you looking to build a garage that's big enough to hold all those vehicles at once or one at a time? If you're looking to build something that'll hold them all in, I'd set them down together and get the rough measurements so you know how big of a floor space you'll need. Definitely add a couple of inches after that. Also, wherever you're going to put your garage will also semi dictate how big your garage can be.

I would recommend that you have a good idea of where you want to put this garage if you are planning to build it big enough to hold four rigs in true scale fashion. Depending on how wild it gets it could be a pain in the A** if you have to move it. Are you planning to build a garage like one would find attached to a house simply to store your rigs, or a shop that one would use to store and work in?

Looking to do more or less a shop. Sorry for the limited details. Also I have a shelf now where I store my rcs next to a desk in my house. It fits them relatively comfortably. I was going to build it about the same size. I was more or less curious what kinda of wood do you use for the walls, roof, floors? I have some garage coat flooring epoxy paint from a previous project I want to use to paint the floors. And for the roof I haves one other ideas also. Just need a nudge in the right direction to get it started them can go from there. Want to do two levels. Bottom floor more or less a "show room" type are and te top floor the "garage/shop" area. Will have back wall, sidewalls, roofs and floors but be open in the front to display everything. Thanks for the help=)
