You would change the color of an axle with spray pain and you're considering boom racing...

Reported.

Or just run dlux big bearing housings with beef tubes ad be better than either option. I do find it interesting that he wants a comparison between the two yet also mentions that not everyone can afford to buy VP. Me thinks he 1 cannot afford the VP housings. No shame in that, I can't either. But he's looking g for validation on why it would be ok to buy some random ass color boom racing housing then break out the krylon. Really?

Run the stock axles but paint them silver. Problem solved.

No, I want aluminum. I actually just found the Boom Racing ones and they do come in color. But I do like the Vanquish ones.

The internet outside of rcsparks is not so noobie friendly so the minions are often shocked by the real world they didn't know was around them.

English is hard for me?! Look at your spelling! What's wrong with people trying to get into the hobby? There's people that have been in the hobby for a while on there too.

Oh I'm sorry do you feel wronged by my using the noobie spelling? Shall I use newbie instead? I'd hate to harm your delicate sensibilities.

Default Vanquish VS. Boom Racing

Vanquish has made a name for themselves and its quality. Quality comes with a price. You want aluminum axle housings but want cheap. Get several sets of the Boom housings and take the anodized color off. Then when they wear out or break after a few outings replace them with another set. Get the Vanquish and be done forever. Such is life. It's bigger than bling bling.

No, not that. I want you to stop posting on my threads. You're an a**hole. And you're being a jerk. So, please, just stop. I asked a simple question. And here you come onto my threads being a jerk. RCSPARKS is not my lord and savior. It's a forum I've been on for a few years, and I wanted to check out another RC forum, so I signed up to this one. I am with RCSPARKS, and several other forums. Some people are actually answer my questions. I don't understand why you have to be so rude. That's what forums are for, to ask questions, and get help and stuff like that.

Thanks. I was leaning toward the Vanquish, I just wish they came in blue to match the c hubs, shocks, and the blue theme I'd like. Oh well. Thanks for actually answering my questions and not being a jerk like some people...

You don't gain anything in the end by cheaping out, either go full out for Vanquish or SSD, or the less expensive alternative as White Trash stated, the Beef tubes and Dlux big bearing plastic housings at a fraction of the price of the VP.
