Even tho' the liberals continue to feed that BS.

Think it's bad now !? Just wait...

Soon not only will technology corporations own folk completely....
But they will make your physical job become obsolete....
and automation will take over your livelihood and the income you once had.

When this occurs... you will be forced to get a liberal college education
and join up with them... Or be left at the wayside curb to rot.

Just look at truckers...
soon to be unemployed and forced to find some other line of work,
because automation will make their physical needs obsolete.

Just like how Uber is able to circumvent those employed as taxi drivers
and are not required to meet the same background checks as do taxi drivers.

Obviously this idealism/direction is corrupt and anti-constitutional...
But today's folk don't see that coming...
or they do... but are misguided and deceived.

You don't have to be titled as a Slave to be one.

This advancement in technologies...
is a crime against all of mankind and humanity.
But the young kids addicted to social media and the likes...
Don't have a brain of their own, nor know what they do.

Technology is swell... but not if yer controlled and regulated to death.

You can probably blame the liberal parents for this direction...
But doubt you could fix broken even if ya wanted.

Get ready... it's gonna get much worse.
And it's no fault of our current President nor government.
It's the out of control corporations that will dictate.

Unless Trump might stops them.
But I won't hold my breath 'cuz the liberal controllers are gonna fight him tooth and nail to garner their one world/one government agenda.

Liberal corporations see folk as a number and a taxable income source for their profitability and gain. Evil

Our prior government did little to nothing to protect the USA citizens rights afforded to them by law under the constitution.

it's more like a corporate sell out if ya ask me.

The liberals have muddled that... to the point that most young kids
have little to no understanding of what they're doing to themselves.

If this young society doesn't wake up... they will be doomed.

S O S before all is lost.
Liberals.. give me a f#cking break. Crawl out of your myopic view.

Privacy, is what goes down m in your house is your business(within reason/law), not your tv or phone companies. Or some weird hacker who breaks into your webcam or baby monitor. "Turning" of n your devices to listen/watch you.

Facebook is slowly making a monopoly on social media, at least the more prominent ones. I've never had Facebook...but now I am apart of that stupid circle, thanks the me having Instagram & WhatsApp. I'm just dumbfounded by how willing people are to share.

There was a recent story about how Emma Watson, of Harry Potter fame, doesn't like taking selfies with fans anymore because it gives away her location. On one hand, I understand the concern, but on the other, being her...she has to realize that she is always being watched. It was also funny, because right around that time, she posted a picture of her with her luggage, a location tag(*()on the photo, and stating she was off to Paris(press tours for movie).

Location tags...these are incredibly stupid. Talk about making it easy to find...

I treat the internet like any other public space. If I want privacy, I don't go there. When I do go there, I expect others to have the ability to see and/or hear me. It's unreasonable to think that they won't and/or can't.

Not too long ago I heard the phrase "if you aren't paying for it, you aren't the customer, you're the product". Facebook and other social media sites (even our beloved RCC) may be free to use, but only because they're mining the shit out of your info. They can't operate without income, and that's how they get it.

Privacy only comes with isolation. Anything else is just an illusion.

The day I logged into Yahoo at work and saw adds for things I only searched for at home was the day I knew my privacy was gone.

When you get adds for tooling at work and you only shop when at home ....... they know what you do every where.

As I think BUBBA mentioned in the first few posts, there was a time when people wouldn't even post a picture of their face on the Internet. Didn't want to get Photoshopped. And a time blurring out license plates was normal, for fear of the car being stolen.

Hah. People these days are so narcissistic it's not even funny.

You want privacy? Throw away your cell phones, smart phones, computers, delete your personal histories, drop facebook, twitter, linkedin, and any other social network. Go completely off the grid. Find yourself a home or build one in the middle of Nowhere, USA, up in the mountains, out in the desert, away from civilization, be a hermit. It's the ONLY way. BUT, you won't do it. YOU have it too easy now.

Facebook scans your email for friends. If you made contact with a person even once and that email is registered on Facebook it will find that "friend" for you. I'm sure there's more to the algorithm, but I get friend suggestions of people I've done business with once.
Yea I did but it's locked right the fawk down so nobody can find me. I don't "follow" anyone since the constant reminders were irritating. I'm too antisocial to be on bookface "correctly".

Did you put down any town, high school, job or favorite candy bars in your profile?

Then there's social media...namely Facebook. Going out...anywhere...oh, I need to check in! Yeah, let's tell everyone where you are every second of the day. Putting a tag on your photo...People voluntarily give up privacy daily.

And I put Google Maps on my phone recently...plugged in my friends address, and boom! a picture of his house was there. I could rotate to see his entire cul-de-sac. I forgot just how crazy that all is.

And then there's Comey's latest line..."There is no such thing as absolute privacy in America"..."have a reasonable expectation of privacy in our homes, in our cars, in our devices." We have very little in this's three examples...

I know this sounds a bit "tin foil hat" like. I'm not at all paranoid about this, they'd be bored looking into me...it's just astounding how willing people are to give up privacy without making a peep.
There is technology in use that can track where you go and where you have been, even if you don't own any electronic communications device, 24/7. They developed it to counter the IED's in Afghanistan and Iraq ect. every time an IED exploded, they could rewind and see who planted it, and where they were before and after the event. "Persistant Surveillance System", a small plane fitted with an array of super high def camera's flies around a large area taking one photo at short intervals which are constantly downloaded to a central system, any vehicle, person or location can be tracked, present ,past and future. It has been commercialized, it's in the public domain.

I had no idea about using legal names on facebook. Safer social media, I guess. Gmail does force our legal name in emails.

I was at a defence expo couple years back and SAAB's representative showed me something similar to what Camin last said.

What shocks me is the look or comments I get from people when I tell them I don't have Facebook.

"But, but, how do you stay in touch with people?"

Cash? What's cash?

Oh right. It's that green, paper stuff that rarely enters my wallet unless somebody owes me money or I go to a place that's stuck in the past and doesn't accept credit or debit cards. They're probably also not reporting all of their sales for tax purposes either.

Yepper. It's not just the government that's invading your privacy. I work for a major bank and test online credit card applications. They code in features for reporting purposes that while they dont' give your actual name, they do collect a lot of data to pass on.

Another thing I found interesting when I noticed it a while back. Has anyone else noticed that after you've been googling items. Be it RC's, stools, pressure washers.. etc... Those same items always seem to appear in the banner ads of other sites you may visit. Funny how the local news stations web site knows I've been looking at Axial, Vaterra and the like. Isn't it great to be part of the information age????
