I'm just here for the humor..... but with the local flame control, I'm getting bored... so now I have a trail truck.  I spent a weekend sitting 10 feet from a GTG (comp?) at X-games and didn't even get a chance to watch. This year I'll watch.... and chat with freetimecrawler and the MN gang. No competing for me though. Racing Nitro has sucked the life right out of me (and my wallet). |

Well I am in the same boat as K_B, being in Alaska it is hard to get to the comps. I am a little closer to WA state but it is about a 1000 miles from me. Also there is no roads in or out of my town unless you have a boat. As far as I know I am the only one in my town that is into crawlers at this point in time. So not I do not compete yet. Anyone want to come to Alaska for a Comp????

For those of you that don't compete because you think Knowone lives near you that crawls. Have any of you gone here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/memberlist.php?do=search and done a search of members from your state? You may just be suprised at how many members are actually in your state. I'm kind of the self appointed recruter for my club MNRCRC. I pretty much check for new members daily, and send them a welcome to RCC PM, and let them know about our MNRCRC club. Just thought I'd throw this out there for some that may not know you can search RCC members by state. |

I have't got my rig finished correctly yet, and there is no one esle in Chico Ca. ( where I live ) that has RC crawlers. I don't plan on competeing. I just crawler the truck over anything i can find and sometimes take it the the park and make some little kids jealous.

Bash mainly. Would be cool to compete in a comp. like the one's that Wild Trial and his buds have. Not really into the rock comp thing. Trail comps look to be more interesting.

It sux, cause some of us in the jersey state want to but not very many people . I look at it this way , if im having fun I dont care if its a "comp" or "GTG" or just 2-3 of us driving our rigs. Hopefully soon more people will get into around by us. |
