I've only mostly finished building my first crawler,a great improvement on my 20yr old clod, and will finish it when I get adapters & wheels to go with the moab xls .The LHSs around Newport News, and Gloucester said there was this one guy once, but why build one of those ?
KrawlinCJ must be who they spoke of

My son and I both compete. Running in the comps does make you want to build better and drive better. One thing I've noticed though.....Once the cones are put in place, something happens to the trucks. I've tried gates that I know my truck would make because I've done it already. After the gates are out,no dice.

Haven't ran my comp rig since October. Still has sand on it from Florida.

I like competing but just don't have the time available to travel 7+ hours one way each month...which is the situation for those living in my area.

I do go to Pointes West as often as possible with some locals to put the 2.2 rigs through some gates.

Maybe when I get to Connecticut I can get a good group of crawlers together for some fun
