Default Guns Anyone???

I am trying to find a Nice Automatic 17 Caliber rim fire rifle. They are a neck down 22. I am wanting this for long distent shooting. The 17 caliber is a little better than the 22 for shooting. So does anyone have one or now who makes them. I have checked a few places and can't find nothing. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

You will like your 1911

Thanks for the help guys keep the input coming. I know that auto is not great for long range but I hate bolting everytime. I think I might check into a Remington. I would love a Browning but I aint paying that much for a small caliber gun.

Yup.. I currently have 3 of them..
I swear you could build 2000 different 1911s and make every one of them different.
I love them

I have this exact gun. I love it, get a bolt action for sure, just the fact that you shoot one round at a time will make you a better shooter. Sure is a fun gun to drill ground squirrels with.

How do you group a round in 1/4" groups if the round is larger than 1/4"?

If perfect with every shot at 1000 yds, your grouping would still be about 7.62mm.

My sniper is an Maadi Ak-47................................not that accurate, but then again, shooting anyone around here from more than 30 yds raises a lot of questions.

Groups are typically measured from hole center to hole center. That's how you can get a group smaller than the round itself. 1/4" group at 1000yds is luck at best, and more likely either a typo on his part or a severe exaggeration.

What I've seen is that shooting groups is much like fishing in it's "tales".

Alrighty men I have decided to go with the Marlin just because of the things I have found on it. I noticed that I can get a trigger job done and have a pull that is alot less than my Springfield XD. Its pretty sensitive! I will hopefully have this by sometime toward the end of the week. It all depends on if my Bow sells to this guy. Thanks for all your help. If you have any more pics of your fun to shoot guns by all means post them. I did not want one of these intil I went and shot my 22 about 1500 times the other day Plinking. And then I decided dang I wounder how much fun it would be to shoot a small round 125 yards and hit the paper. So I sighted the 22 in for 50 yards and was doing alright for the most part. Well then I went to the gun show thats here once a year and thats all she wrote. I am now buying another gun.
