This one he might actually have but whether or not the ebay buyer gets it that's a different story.

Depending on what you hear back, would it be wise to let the highest bidder on eBay know that the seller is "iffy"?

I PM'ed Badger about this issue a few minutes ago. As far as I'm concerned, his FS thread should be deleted, and I've asked Badger for permission to do so. I haven't heard back from him yet.

No, looks like the person who won it on fleabay posted it over here for sale using same pics and description.

Well, since the Ripper (the one in his RCC ad, NOT his Ebay auction) has been offered to me, I'd say it's a good bet whoever buys it off his ad isn't going to see it...

If the seller says the deal never happened, I will.

Sorry for not responding yet. I just woke up from my second dose of meds for a pinched nerve in my lower back.

This is what I would have done as well. I also would send the seller a PM asking what his side of the story is (even though is it pretty spelled out already) giving him a chance to make it right.

Freetime, IMO it is always better to error on the cautious side by removing a potential problem thread and asking questions after words. The thread can always be restored is for some unlikely reason the guy picked up the rig locally and is in fact telling the truth.

Just puttting this out there, CSC can explain it if he wants.

That feedback on ebay he has for the HPI Nitro MT2, he says the buyer paid fast, a day later the buyer says he shipped fast. I know he told 4u2nv on RCMT that the buyer backed out, and gave him $20. Now he supposedly trading that truck with createacrawler on Scale 4x4 for some wheels, and that ad is still open on RCMT. Somewhere in there he is lying. Either the feedback is a lie or he doesn't have the truck to trade.

BTW, already notified createacrawler.

Exactly the kind of response I'd expect from you. You know for a guy who supposedly got scammed you'd think you'd be more understanding of people who are wary of being scammed. I haven't stated anything that is not true and all of the links are your very own threads.

Let me say this, for a 20 year old who grew up on the internet, and has been in RCs for 9 years (your words), you only started popping up on forums last month. Even your ebay account is brand new. Yet here you are wheeling and dealing like a pro with a post count higher than mine on a lot of the other forums. And in that month you've had a lot of drama on other boards.

Your right you haven't done anything wrong yet but I'm not gonna let another "FreakyCrawler" situation happen again if I can help it. If your a stand up guy you'll get this all straightened out. But you've got to earn that trust, a $20 star doesn't buy it.

oh yeah, before you spout off again, maybe you should close that for sale ad you have on RCMT for the HPI Nitro MT2.

Well I should correct myself, you were selling a Clod crawler you didn't actually have.

I really don't see what he did that was all that wrong. There is no rule that says that you can't post something in forsale if you don't have it yet. He already owns it he just doesn't have it yet........

He "owns" it but it's not in his possession, and he wants to sell it despite the absence of the truck and that's A-OK.

So who wants to buy a Phantom truck that the owner has never seen in person?

Edit:

That also can open the door for denizens to scam other members.
" I own the truck, but it's not here."
