Oh, yeah.
"Board" meetings...

But does that really make it worth, possibly losing everything you own? Year after Year...

It definately depends on where you live. I'm only a few miles from the fire line yet the chances of it reaching me are slim to none.

I can't believe how much of my home town (Lake Arrowhead) where I grew up is burning. :-(

my eyes are burning and breathing is not very comfortable. With these Santa ana winds blowing the smoke out over the water I can't even get away from it out surfing. But when the wind changes direction and blows the smoke back inland the ocean will have the best air quality.

i live in burbank, which is south of canyon country, east of malibu, and west of devore. the sky is gray, ash is falling, and the sun is blood red. it's kind of eerie as people are just staying inside. i haven't watched the news yet, last i heard is that all of the major fires are zero percent contained. i hope that has changed.

Man, both coasts really need some rain! They got fires burning out of control, and I may not have drinking water in 80 days.

So far here in San Diego, 1800 homes lost and almost 900,000 people evacuated, with many of those able to return to their homes. I'm one of the lucky ones that lives between San Miguel mtn. and Cowles mtn. keeping most of the smoke and ash away from us in La Mesa.
