Yeah the Running Springs/Lake Arrowhead fire is about 15 miles away from the High School I work at, they just canceled school tomorrow and friday! (That means I dont have to work either!) The air quality is so terrible! Looks like Cheech and Chong's van out here |

I work for the San Dieguito River Park in North county San Diego. The Witch fired burned right thru the heart of the park burning about 75% of a 55 mile corridor. Our office and an historic adobe structure are completely gone. Here is a link to some of the random distruction. I guess it's time to rebuild. http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r...t=f05e9386.pbw Whats left of one of my tool sheds. |

There were Three fires there. The one at the San Luis Rey gate. The Horno fire, which has grown from 6,000 acres to 10,000 is about 45% contained. He said from the sky it looks like a horse shoe and its north near San Onofre and south near Pulgas Rd. They also have done a back burn to prevent the I 5 from being in danger. They said they started near Camp Margarita Area 33 and the second in Las Pulgas Area 43 near Basilone Road. Everyone just stay safe. And leave if they tell you to. Don't try to ride it out. I hope Everyone makes it without loss. | |

Thanks for the info, USMC. The news here says one thing, then another, kinda never know what's really what. Hey Raul, man, that really sucks. Hope it all works out for you, what a bummer.
