Go to Google maps and type in Palmer Park, Colorado. It is on Maizeland.

I would post it here but my computer is having a attitude problem toward Google maps....

You are in for a treat, Palmer is similar to Red Rocks but about 1000 times bigger

OK ladies and Gents, here soon Joe will be posting an itenerary for the day. Because some of you are only coming for certain events, times will be posted to give a general ideal of when each class will be starting.
Looks like we are gonna draw a pretty big crowd so should be a good comp.

The comp spot is going to be at PA28.

Sign up is at 9am. I will be teching the top 5 rigs in 1.9's and 2.2's before the finals course.

Comp starts promptly at 9:30 with 1.9's and supers. We'll start to mix in 2.2's and scalers when the time/available judges allow (no later than 11:30am).

There will be a short break at 12 for judges lunch. The rock race scale event will happen during this time next to the picnic area.

If you are interested in learning how to judge. This will be a great event to learn at. Talk to me and I'll get you set up.

So far for food we have (I'm expecting ~30 people):

Burgers (~10 burgers ea):
1. EvilEddy420
2. Egnix
3. Herburner

Hot Dogs (2 packs ea):
1. BMX_ican
2. BLAZEFIGHTER

Buns (2 packs of 8 ea):
1. EvilEddy420 (hamburger buns)
2. kronik (hot dog buns)
3.
4.

Chips (1 bag)
1. kronik
2. oldvintageiron (doritos)
3. kronik

Soda (12 pack)
1. oldvintageiron (Dr. Pepper)
2. evileddy420 (Mt. Dew)
3. Cruzin Illusion
4.

I'll be bringing 2 coolers with ice, ketchup/mustard, and cheese for the burgers. If you want anything else, get it yourself :-P :-P

**If you are on the list and decide to not come, please let me know so I can get someone else to get the food**

I don't have the coords to the parking area where this comp will be held, so I posted what I do have (PA9, PA12, LL) over here.

Perhaps it's too late to ask, but was there any interest (besides me) in a sportsman's class for this event?
I'd even be willing to be the only one in the class...Then I'd have a slight chance at winning!

GPS coords for PA28 are:
38.873273,-104.772277

I will be asking for judges during signup, and I'll be looking for relief judges throughout the day.

if there is enough interest Sheldon will run a sportsman's class

Can I run my WK rock racer tuber in the scale class? It doesn't have a winch, but it is fast

I can bring a 12 pack of Mtn. Dew as well.

Kronik, if u can bring that micro servo, that would be great. I don't think I will be able to get one by Sat. Thanks

Bring it along, I have no problems letting anyone run as long as the scale guys agree that it's okay. We'll at least time ya on the rock race and see how fast it really is.

I'm gonna say no, because all the rest of us have to use the same motors for all the other courses. Find a good compromise (i.e. fast motor with a small pinion, or slower motor on 4s )
