10 days till this comp What do you guys want to do for scale stuff? I'm thinking 1 individual crawler course, 1 team crawler course, and 1 timed run course (with optional gates for time bonuses) I'm gonna be bringing my propane grill so it would be great if someone could donate some burgers or something, or I could buy them and take donations at the comp? |

| I didn't know that about Tyler, I'll try not to Judge. Joe is in charge of the Scale side of the event, shouldn't be hard to change if it's not legal, let us know if we can help.

Thanks!! Yes, you'll be able to run the scale class. The minimum requirements for the scale class is a frame that extends past the axles, shaft drive, and a "scale" body. Other than that, a winch is highly reccomended. I'll post up more info on the scaler comp in a few days. | |

We haven't set anything in stone, but I would like to have registration at 8:30- 9:00 and be running trucks at 9:00. Search winch on this forum and there is a nice right up about making a winch, if you need help, PM me. |

Starting to get close so I'll try to pay a lil better attention to this tread. So everyone knows, We will be running Supers, Scalers, Piss ants, and the 2.2s.. I will be handling the 2.2 and the Supers and the one and only Engineer Joe will be handling the 1.9s and the Scalers. I think we will have a long day so organization is the key. All classes will be 5.00, so please try to bring a 5 dollar bill or what every equals what you are doing, this will speed things up dramatically if I don't have to make change for everyone. Please plan on starting to run at 9:00, Registration will start at 8:30, don't show up at 9:00 if you can be here at 8:30. Next, Joes gonna bring a Grill out, so anyone who wants to bring something to eat or drink let us know? Well, hope to see everyone there, last event was great and I think this one will be even better and smoother. One more thing, we are starting a new rule, it's the give the driver some God Damn Room rule, all spectators must stand back a minimum of 7ft when a driver is driving, if your not a spotter than stand back. If you are told more then twice that you need to stand back then you will have to go stand in the corner for a while Last edited by lwb Sami; 02-04-2010 at 06:36 AM. |

Alright, here are the scale rules (taken from some of Rogues posts): Rules and minimums penalty points Scale deductions I'm not too picky on the rules and I'll try to include everyone who wants to run. The events will be as follows: 1. Team crawling course 1 min/gate time limit, 10 pts/gate team limit (i.e. 6 gates = 6 mins and 60 pts) several winchable bonus gates (-10 bonus added after the course is done) both team members must cross the finish to stop time and will get the same score No penalty for a winch or tow strap recovery in this event. I haven't decided how teams will be picked yet (out of a hat or team a capable rig with one less capable?) 2. Rock race Timed run. fastest time will be scored a zero, slowest will be a 40. In between will be scored proportionately points accrued on course will equal seconds added to time (i.e. rollover = 5 pts = 5 second penalty, no reverse penalties will be assessed) 3. Individual crawling course: 1 min/gate time limit, 10 pts/gate limit Several winchable bonus gates (-10) I'll try to make everything drivable without winching *if you take a gate* If we have time after that we can do another individual course Let me know if you have any questions. I should be able to make it! As long as I fix my rig. Yay for me for getting a new job! I'll bring some chips and a case of sodas. To bad I wont have my scaler done. I still need shocks, wheels and tires. Any one have any? let me know. |
