i'm tempted.....I hope this isn't like last years boat craze lol !!

Only thing holding me back is that we don't have alot of sand close by, or are you guys building these to run in the dirt? My question then would be....why not just have a slash? Is it the scale look that is desired here?

From the looks of things, you can have some pretty shitty scale skills and it would turn out perfect

Just ran across this thread and this type of 4x racing. I have a ax10 rock racer I may look into converting. I think the wife would love to have a desert scene back yard complete with dunes !

It's not going to only be sand as were finding out. You will want a set of agressive dirt tires to. The terrain is allways going to be different witch I think will be challanging and alot of fun. If you think a slash will climb these kinds of verts then build one up

this is sig worthy. But yeah, its kinda like the early days of crawling when stuff didn't look quite right. If this takes off expect scale and comp versions

Alright, I think I have most of the parts just sitting here for one of these builds. Just have to decide what chassis I'm going to run. I need something that goes really fast, been thinking about a slash and this looks more my style.

Then you have the best of both worlds!
That is what I am wanting to do. I have the Betty I am working on slowly and I was setting it up for Rock Racing and TCC. Now I hope to add the FOFF rig to it. I just hope I can get it to fit in the rules.
