Ugh, been so busy forgot to post up the Scale Points Party tonight at the shop starting at 7pm.

Bring in your truck to get your scale points tallied before the G6 run on Sunday and ask any questions you may have about your rig, scale points or the comp set up

Good turn out last night at the points party, thank you everyone that came out and we hope everyone has a better understanding of scale points and how they work

A couple people asked and yes, we will have a carpool/caravan meet up at the shop for anyone that doesn't know the way to Coal Creek.

We ask that everyone showing up for the meet up be at the shop by 9am. Carpooling is suggested, there is limited parking at the comp site.
If you are running late and can't make the meet up check out the map in post #73 in this thread.

A few suggestions to make you G6 experience fun and enjoyable

-A good attitude to have fun

-Pack plenty of water/drinks and a lunch. The event will be going from 10am to about 2pm. There is a restaurant about 2 miles from the comp site if you get the hankering for a sit down meal.

-Dress accrodingly. the forecast calls for a chilly morning and warming up to about 70 by noon. We will be driving on natural terrain and a good pair of hiking shoes is encouraged.

-A backpack to carry water, tools, parts and batteries while your on the trail. Better have it and not need it then need it and not have it, or have to run all the way down to your car to get a part or tool

-Pack it in and pack it out. Please pick up after yourself, we will have trash bags available for garbage, keep Colorado clean everyone

-You do not talk about Fight Club...

If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to post them up.

We will be at the comp site early that morning to set up the course, if anyone wants to help you're more than welcome to come early, plus you get to see the course

The G6 was an absolute blast today!!! I think that is about as fun as it gets in RC Crawling. Those of you who missed the event should really try to make one in the future.

Thank you to The Crawl Space (Ikaika and Tiff) and to Big Jon and Justin for your hard work in organizing and running this event and making it awesome by setting a really fun and challenging course.

Big thanks to RC4WD and Monster Energy for sponsoring the G6 and providing prizes for everyone there! Having big sponsors really makes these events even more fun!!

Can't wait to see the scores/times and I'm excited for the next event all ready.

Had a blast at the event today! Thanks to everyone for putting up with me while I was filming (pretty sure I almost stepped on a few guys rigs during the process lol). And no, I swear I'm not out to get anyone caught for cheating

Anyway, I'm waiting for a cable I need to pull the video off the main camera I was using today, so I decided to start learning a new video editing program, Final Cut Pro X, with what little footage I got from my 2nd camera. Call it a "Teaser" or "Trailer" of sorts. Comments & Critique is ALWAYS welcome, good or bad. Photography is my job & my hobby, and I'm very new to video...so any help is always appreciated.

Aka: Posts count in the crawler tech forums. In regional, for sale, chit chat, non crawler RCs, etc. posts do not count.

Right on dude. I might need your help with formatting a spreadsheet for the "time" scores, I can't get it to work on the sheet you made up for the regular comp scores

I can help Ikaika. Ilk stop by and get the score sheets and take it home. Or just do it at the shop.

Scores!!

Ok, this was a pain in the ass!! I was gonna add start times so people can double check their times but I couldn't figure out how to easily get excel to subtract time. So I'll keep messing with this and i'm sure i'll get it eventually.

Few explanations:

-Each Scale point is a 1 minute deduction from your total time.

-If a driver did not attempt or was not able to finish the course it resulted in a 2h time for your score

-Basically this is your time from each lap with scale points deducted as minutes from you total time from both laps

Feel free to ask any questions or correct me if you find any mistakes.
