The scary thing about Mr. Avery's truck is is crawls really well. I saw it go up a VERY steep grade at the 2.2 MWC and it walked right up it.

I have seen many pics also, simply amazing for a scaler, sure wish he would bring it to the Scale Nats in may!

2. Leaf sprung both axles -5
7. Spare tire" functional " -3
8. Winch for looks only -1
10. Led's of any kind, must be functional during comp -2
12. Bumpers, both -3
13. Tube frame, exo cage, tube bed, must be made of METAL -3
16. Realistic interior -2
17. Un-modded OEM tires -3
18. Chassis mounted steering servo -5


Ben, for number 13 do my sliders have anything to do with that?

I was really wanting to go to this , so I started this build. I have a step son in Helena and it woulda worked out good to go. He joined the Marines and all of the spots are gone now , so I guess I'll just stay home and build another truck. I think I could max out on points with this one.

So why don't you go and see your son and bring your rigs. You could come and watch and run Friday night and Sunday. Or there might be a no Show.
