Hrrrm... Wonder what I can get together. The Cherokee is at an easy -25. But for the 2.2...I see that hard bodies get -5, but what if the body is sheetmetal and it's attached to a tube frame? Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 04-15-2008 at 05:14 PM. |

Not much to show. Tube frame, steel body panels. Bigger than Ralph. |

I now have Red Wings with steel toes just in case you bring Ralph with you the next time you come to FL.After feeling the earth shake when Ralph hit the rocks the last time you brought him I just wanted to be prepared.

Am I the only one that isn't really racking up points? Maybe I'm adding wrong, or not counting stuff I should, but one of my rigs only added up to -6 |

functional spare tire: -3 LED's: -2 Bumpers front and rear: -3 Tube bed: -3 Realistic interior: -2 Unmodded OEM tires: -3 Chassis mounted steering servo: -3 Total: 19 Not bad, I'd add a winch though. That'll be -3 more and it'll help alot in the comp. Zip tie some tools or camping gear in there and you'll be at -25 pretty easy.

My 1.9 won't be maxed out, I'm looking at about -15 to -17.

If I put a canoe on the Cherokee I'm at -29. Without it I'm at -26 and I'm not even counting all the extra stuff that's mounted on the rack other than the spare tire. The two fuel cans, the hi-lift, sand ladders, and shovel aren't counted. It doesn't have the exo or any of that cool stuff, just basic things: -5 hard body -5 chassis mounted steering servo -3 front/rear bumpers -3 functional spare tire -3 working winch -3 stock tires -2 d-rings (-1 each) -2 metal roof rack -3 canoe ...and Ben, here's the 2.2 She's torn apart, getting beefy link mounts installed, cleaned, then off to powdercoat. The frame is 21 inches long so she's a land yacht. I'm thinking I'll keep the hood lexan but change the rest to sheetmetal so it'll sound better on the rocks. Although you probably won't hear the metal mashing against the rocks over the sound of the engine. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 04-18-2008 at 11:06 AM. |
