Thanks to the people that set up the event and coordinated everything.

I was very happy to see so many people show up.

Grats to the Winners.

Yea.. Seriously. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in putting that gig together!

I had a great time. Made some new friends and got to see some folks I've met before.

I also really liked getting away and seeing some new crawling terrain, I think this was a learning experience..... Time to go rebuild my rig!

well the orignal comp ,was based on 2 corses, atwhich a txt-1 had minus 12 on first corse, and placed close to second, or third ,on second corse .and when points was totaled, he was so far ahead of all ,that they decide to run top five on a third corse, and start everyone back to zero. so in my book txt-1 owned. and in top five killertxt was only defeated by 1 point to. so call what you want but seemed kinda one sided to me. but all in all was fun and everyone was good sport regardless of outcome. o and they guy whom won the first two corses it was his second time to ever run a crawler.

I think it was decided to throw out the points from the first two courses after the second group scored Much better on the B course. When the first group ran B course the rocks were wet and in the shade of the trees. The other group ran B course after lunch with the sun shining down on the rocks. Could have been that the rocks were dry and warm and offered more traction or all of us in the first group suck!

Haha!

I didn't do worth a flip on the first two courses. Everybody else had their Moab's on so I tried LST's just to be different..... was different alright! Everyone else was climbing rocks and I was sitting there spinning! Lucky for me the points started over for the final round. ;)

First off let me say that the last BP event had 9 people there, and this event had 24.
Yes we did make mistakes! We did the best we could with the knowledge we had.
Yes we did plan to use combined scores through out the day, but half way through the day it became obvious by the scores that 2 groups scores were very different.

Not just 1 driver! Maybe it was because different groups were judging, or changing weather conditions, who knows!

So I am not sure what you are implying by you statement "he was so far ahead of all ,that they decide to run top five on a third course, and start everyone back to zero." and " so call what you want but seemed kinda one sided to me."

More than likely future large events held at BP will be ran the same way. The goal will be to get to the main event by beating other drivers in your group. Scores will be reset for the MAIN EVENT!

Sorry this was unclear in the beginning, but in the end I think we made the right decision.

I would still like to KNOW THE FINAL SCORES !!!!!!

I know the ol' guy had to be worn out Saturday night, he probably walked 5 miles back and forth between the two courses.
