Default Colorado Winter Series Comp #2 Rocas Rojo 12/o6/o9

This months Colorado Crawlfest will be the world famous
RED ROCKS!!

Well not in actual Red Rocks park , but you know........!!

Is everyone ready for comp #2? Well we are lucky enough to be holding
this one at Red Rocks!! Where traction is to the extreme, and the sky is the limit!

For this Red Rocks episode we will be going to the uncharted by many EAST SiDE!!!! We will be crawling in the general vicinity of the red "box". We have the parking lot reserved so you can park in the upper u shape by the comp area!

Check the map out, it's really cool!

View LaGuerra en Rocas Rojo in a larger map

Here is the run-down:

Course design EARLY

Registration and tech 8am, comp starts at 8:30.

1.9 and Super will start first followed by top 5 finals of each.

2.2 will follow the finals and of course a top 5 finals.

Remember Colorado o9-1o Winter Series specifics

We will be using http://www.usrcca.com/usrcca_rules_2...-09-master.pdf rules so make sure you are up to them, with the exception of the wheelbase rules in super.

-Event fees are $5.00 per class, per event.
Payout will be:
1st place=50%
2nd place=30%
3rd place=20%

Don't forget you need to get your $20 series registration in!!

We are really privileged to be able to use this spot so lets respect it, clean up trash, minimal impact, etc.
Also no alcohol at this event, none at the comp spot, none in the parking lot. It has been asked that we respect that and anyone abusing will be asked to leave and DQ'ed.

Post up all idea's, comments, suggestions, predictions, premonitions, exclamations, if your coming, and shit talking here!

Nice! It'll be good to get back there.
Then to be able to try out some rock that I have never been on is just a bonus!
Thanks to those that make it possible to get back to Red Rocks for this event!

High of 29 degrees
Low of 18 degrees
Partly Cloudy

Is the forecast for Sunday.

Becky and I will be there. Can't miss out on a place like Red Rocks especially since we just can't go there anymore.

As long as its not snowing comp day or right before the area will be clear, I'll make sure of that.

Oh I already am. Freezing my ass off playing with toy trucks, or warm shop building the real thing. Decisions decisions.

If it works out that way so be it. I'll enjoy every minute on the lakebed in February. Wish I had time for both but it's not working out that way.
